Like a bumper the part was stamped and plated. It is fine for a driver or the perfect core to relate for a show car. Chrysler was not in the business of pleasing a restorer 50 years down the road.

One new old stock in the box Mopar right hand grille bar closure fitting 1957 Chrysler Imperial. Then they put it a too tight box that in 56 years caused a bit of box rub. Filling, filing and polishing was not part of the deal. But is new, has good luster and is priced right.

Maybe it is better and maybe not. A restorer in 2013 will look at the part and wonder why Chrysler did not do better.

My part is unsuited for buyers with show car expectations. They were in the business of selling cars.
