Thanks junk man. The other thing these do is give a 'finished' look so you don't see ground through grill. I supplied these to a Corvair vendor for many years, until thought that had sold out of them. They look great.

I received a set the other day. I have to say they look great. These are Reproductions of the original 1964 rear air grille stone shields.

The rear air grille is not part of this offer, and picture provided for informational purposes only. If you happened upon an nos set I would think the only difference is these have a nicer finish then most parts. I bolted them up to an nos grill have for one of my '64's.

If you are using a 1964 rear air grille on any other year Corvair, then these will also fit, since the has mounting holes provided for stone guards. Actual testimonials from Corvair owners that purchased these rear air grille stone shield in the past. The quality is outstanding. Fit is perfect.

They came out perfect, and the only difference between Reproduction original, is that powder coated. This past year, I found a box of these in my cellar. Got mine today. Its nice to get a part where you don't have clean it up and repaint, ready install as shipped.

After they quoted me a price for the project, I decided to go forward with Reproduction. Screw clips are not included.

Just about every 1964 Corvair had them missing, and only after reading the assembly manual, did I find out. I went on a hunt till found car with them.
